From the A44 between New Radnor and Llanfihangel-Nant-Melan, turn off at SO193592 towards Water-break-its-neck. Drive past the picnic area and either park at the fork in track 700m further on (SO187596) or take the left fork and follow the track around the side of the hill to the top (4WD only).
Anywhere in the take off field. Watch out for trees below tak eoff.
Anywhere in the take off field.
Not recommended due to trees causing turbulence close to the slope.
In the designated landing field (SO187596). The landing field slopes steeply towards the track and contains a lone tree.
This site can be affected by turbulence from the hill opposite in stronger winds.
In easterly winds the lift band extends to the south, affording excellent views over the New Radnor valley.
